Not as much progress today as yesterday, but Shelby continues to eat and I'm sure this makes her extremely happy. Unfortunately she is still restricted on her diet but at least she is getting more than she was previously. She did not sleep at all last night and that made her very tired today. Speech was a struggle as usual because she was so tired. She did extremely well in OT this morning with her bedside session and again in the afternoon doing some dexterity exercises. PT today was spent working on transfers from chair to mat. She also had some head and neck stretching done in PT as well. That she keeps pulling her head forward is still a problem for her and it will take some more work to get her out of that habit. It affects her sleep and I'm sure it is painful for her. On top of that she is still very tense. Sometime this weekend I will be bringing Hazel to see her and I think this will perk her up quite a bit. For this weekend keep praying that she loosens up a bit. and that her speech progresses. I'll admit the speech is a selfish request for me. But I really want to hear what she has to say and I want to start talking with her again.

Matt, you are one of the least selfish people I know. We all want to hear Shelby's beautiful voice and we will.
