Another day and still struggling with sleep. The doctors are adjusting her meds and trying some new sleep aids to try and get her some decent rest. Until she starts sleeping through the night and staying awake during the day she will struggle to make progress. OT today had her working on sitting tableside and keeping herself upright using her own muscles. She is getting pretty good at this. She can hold herself up pretty well. She has a long way to go still especially because her head and neck are still so tight. In PT today she stood up using the guiderails. She had to hold herself up using her torso on the hand rails and bear weight on her legs. She still does best with PT and I know this is because it keeps her so engaged and gets her blood flowing. Not much else to report. She slept through both sessions of speech again. I don't really know what to say about speech at this point other than it is one of the things I want to see the most improvement on but she just simply can't put in the effort right now. Keep praying for her sleep and energy. A good night's rest will go a long way. Pray hard.

Hi Matt and Shelby,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Can speech be changed to a time that is better for Shelby?
