Hello Everyone
Hello everyone. This is
Shelby. I’m doing better. Thank
you for all of your caring. It
means a lot to me. I’m getting busy with all the therapy. Being home is really
great. It’s nice to be home again. Hazel has been crazy but I love her anyway.
Love, Shelby.
Love, Shelby.

Shelby, It's so good to hear from you.

Hi Shelby,
What a wonderful surprise to hear from you. I consider you a modern day miracle! I am going to let Mindy and Rick know that you have posted your own message on your blog. We have all been praying for you!!! I will let my church know the good news. Hang in there and keep working--I know you will but I just want you to know that we are all proud of your accomplishments.

Hello, Shelby!
I first heard of your plight from your first grade teacher. She pointed me to where she thought your updates would be--Carepages.com. Unfortunately, I did not find you there. However, I began to pray for you. That was in June.
Now in August, I was talking to a secretary at Merced College who knew a young woman from her church who...Then she said your name and the hair stood up on my arms. She got on the computer and showed me your Blog. So here I am.
Every time I see a greyhound dog I think of you. You had me going with the one you adopted. Remember? You wanted me to guess what you had named it. I said there were way too many names and I would most certainly get it wrong. You kept repeating, "Guess." I would reply, "It's impossible to guess," but I would throw out another name. "Guess," was your response. I finally got it. You laughed. I smile to think of it. You are one of God's jewels, His child. I continue to pray and I thank God for those divine appointments with people who knew what you were going through. He brought them to me so I could pray for you, too. God is so good. Now I'm in your life again. Remember me? Third Grade at Peterson.
Love you,
Ms. Alvernaz

Hi, Shelby. It's so good to see you doing your own blogging! I've been checking in / checking up on you since March. You are a brave and determined woman -- with a great husband and lots of wonderful friends to love and support you. (Also an affectionate dog -- always a plus.) Keep on keeping on.

Shelby,
I just want to tell you what a blessing and privilege it was to meet you this weekend and to THANK you for allowing me to come and share your home while I visited with your Aunt Diane! You, my dear are both beautiful and precious - you and Matt and your complete family, mom, dad, sisters, Issac - all of your extended family will continue to be in my prayers daily.
Thank you again for opening your home and Hazel (or as Aunt Diane says "Hazel Nut") to me. God's grace to you precious one.

This is so awesome that you've started blogging on here. I've been reading all your posts and I'm so glad to see your improvement and that you got to go home. My dad is always asking about you and Jenny. Remember moving day into the Dorchester?? Good times. I hope you keep gaining strength everyday and I hope you keep writing on here.
